In order to make calls to the outside world from your Incredible PBX telephone system, we will need to create at least one outbound route to tell the system about the trunk / service provider to use when a particular external number patterns are dialed. Because this can be quite a complex & confusing topic to digest we will simply set it up as follows, with some very basic commentary. Further explanation will follow to supplement what we learn here & provide some insight in to just how much can be achieved using outbound rules.

Select Connectivity > Outbound Routes

Enter the following details

Route Name Choose a meaningful name ie the type of call this is used for

Route CID Enter the telephone number associated with your SIP trunk in between <> ie <01617974335>

Rote Password leave blank if not required

Match Pattern Her we enter X. note that this will allow any number dialed to be processed by your provider for routing connection (see dial pattern rules help for implementation of more control)

Trunk Sequence For matched Routes Here we can select one of our other trunk routes in the event the this one is not currently available

Click Submit Changes

Apply Config

As far as the basics are concerned that really is it, you should now be able to make calls out of your telephone system.
